TSX Market Direction Outlook For Sept 30 2014

The technical outlook for the Toronto Stock Exchange for Monday was for the rally from Friday to continue in the morning and then more selling later into the close. Instead investors were dumping shares at the open, setting another new morning low and then at one point coming within a dozen points or so of turning positive before selling erupted into the close.

Still the recovery from the early morning plunge was impressive and took out all of my market direction portfolio positions. In the end, the TSX closed down just 49.85 points.
