MACD Histogram: MACD (Moving Averages Convergence / Divergence) issued an up signal on Mon Sep 21 2026. The up signal was weaker on Tue Sep 29 2026 and almost gone.

|
| Rate of Change: The rate of change is falling, signaling that Wednesday will end lower. Settings: Rate Of Change is set for a 21 period. This indicator looks back 21 days and compares price action from the past to the present. With the Rate Of Change, prices are rising when signals are positive. Conversely, prices are falling when signals are negative. As an advance rises, the Rate Of Change signal should also rise higher, otherwise the rally is suspect. A decline should see the Rate Of Change fall into negative signals. The more negative the signals the stronger the decline. |

Stock Market Outlook for Wed Sep 30 2026
The rally back from Tuesday’s lows to end the day with only slight losses is a bullish sign for stocks. Today will be all about earnings after hours from Micron Technology (MU) and the latest read on inflation which could impact stocks intraday. I will be placing a trade today in Micron stock to try to profit from any move up or down after earnings are released.
For Wednesday the outlook is sideways with dips likely but a slightly higher close ahead of the Micron earnings is likely. Watch the inflation readings due out at 8:30. Any surprises of strength could see stocks open lower on the day as investors continue to worry about further interest rate hikes from the Fed. Higher inflation on Wednesday could kill any chance of a bounce today.
