CNR Stock has been in my personal portfolio on and off for years. Last night in the TSX market direction outlook I discussed the CP Railway earnings and how they were boosting the outlook for CNR stock. I explained the trade I was planning on entering.
This article looks at my trade in CNR Stock, the outlook for the stock, what I am expecting from earnings, two lines of defense and my plans for the stock after Monday’s earnings announcement.
This is one of the stronger Canadian stocks for both Put Selling and stock trading which includes covered calls. It is definitely near the top of my watch list of Canadian stocks I follow.
