2015 marks the second year of the Apple Stock million dollar challenge. 2014 returned 39% and provided $99,000.00 of additional capital to the trade. With just three years left though, I need to earn more income if I am to meet the goal of one million dollars. This year the volatility has been higher which has driven up the option premiums. Concentrating on the Biweekly Put Selling Strategy again this year using credit put spreads, I have done 15 trades and earned 17% to date. I plan to be more aggressive this year and enter more trades. I also plan to increase the number of credit put spread contracts being used. My goal is to try to reach a 50% return for the year. This will help jump start the million dollar portfolio and push me closer to my goal.
Since earning 17% to date, this averages out to around 5% a month. If I can keep up these types of gains I will reach my goal of a 50% return.
