Coca Cola Stock this year is back providing double-digit returns and yet for most fund managers the stock is simply not going anywhere fast. The 3 year chart below shows that the stock has pretty well trended sideways with little room for steady capital appreciation. It remains one of the large holders of Warren Buffett but even the dividend is reaching a point where fund managers are expressing disappointment. Over the past three years the dividend has gone from .255 cents in 2012 to 0.33 cents in 2015. Meanwhile the stock ended 2012 at around $36.00 and today is trading for $40 for an 11% gain in 3 years or roughly 3.7% a year without the dividend.
My strategies though have returned double digits annually and this year Coca Cola Stock has been a real winner for my portfolio. I have a number of trades still outstanding in Coca Cola Stock.
