The bounce today is not unexpected. The oversold market was becoming pessimistic on the chances of the index recovering above 2800. While the rally is perhaps a bit overdone, this is typical of investors when a bounce gets underway. We could see the index slip toward the close but I am expecting the index to move above 2800 Tuesday.
