For FullyInformed members here is the Market Direction Outlook for the Toronto Stock Exchange for Wednesday Nov 25 2015.

The Toronto Stock Exchange managed to crawl out of a shallow morning sell-off and close positive on the day. The final close was just a gain of 25.45 points but the big story was the move from a low of 13,359.57 to 13,461.17 intraday. This was a move up of 101 points. The final hour of the day saw selling which took the TSX back down to the final close of 13,407.83 but the market demonstrated there are buyers still watching and looking for signs of a rally to jump into the market.

The big news was the downing of a Russian Jet Fighter by Turkey, a member of NATO. This spiked the price of oil and gold. While gold might rally a bit more this week, I think next week it will move back lower. Oil might last for more than a couple of days though and perhaps even a bit longer.

The Saudi Kingdom took advantage of the spike in oil to reiterate again on Tuesday their stance on working with all OPEC nations to stabilize and put a floor under the price of oil. This is rhetoric that has been heard many times before, but the Saudis knew it would assist in pushing up the price of oil, which it did…… the rest of the TSX Market Direction Outlook is for FullyInformed Members.
