Toronto Stock Exchange Drops 252.75 Points
The Canadian banking sector and energy stocks fell rather dramatically on Tuesday. Stocks looked set to fall further when they broke the 12,200 level but by the close, the TSX was back at 12,282.65. Still, the day saw another big drop. With a loss of 252.75 points or 2.02%, the TSX is back below the important 12500 technical level.
