The outlook for the TSX Composite Index for Tuesday was for some selling in the morning but a move higher during the day.
TSX Composite Index Closed Up 36.04 Points
Although the Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen is in the US, her speech today still held the attention of Canadian investors. The TSX was sideways until after 12:30 when the index began a climb. The high was shortly before 3:00 when the TSX Composite Index reached 13,443.80. It sold down slightly into the close to 13,426.23 which left the TSX Composite Index within 75 points of the important 13500 level. Fr the day the TSX Composite Index closed up 0.27%, for a second straight day of advances.
