The Canadian Stock Market Outlook for Wednesday July 6 was for the TSX Composite Index to experience some weakness in the morning and witness additional profit-taking. The close was expected to be slightly negative.
TSX Composite Index Rises 11.49 Points
Instead of ending the day lower, the TSX Composite Index moved higher and closed up 11.49 points to 14,231.06. Six of the TSX’s main groups were moving higher on Wednesday.
The rise on Wednesday was fueled in part by a rise in gold prices, a rise in oil prices and a rise in Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Stock on the back of positive comments from Walgreens Boots Alliance……………..the rest of the Canadian Stock Market Outlook for Tomorrow is for members.
