Stock Market Outlook For Tue Jul 12 2022 – Teddi’s Still Sick

The S&P fell at the open reaching 3849. Up until 2:00 PM, buyers tried to hold the market above 3850 but failed. The SPX fell for the final two hours of trading and ended the day at 3854.

The saga of the kidney stone continues and today was spent taking a cocktail of meds to help recover. Doctors today advised it will take some time for the stone to pass.

Therefore I won’t be writing a lot for Tuesday and just outlining trades I am planning to enter.

Stock Market Outlook Chart Comments At The Close on Mon Jul 11 2022 

There is no chart tonight but the chart looks bearish for Tuesday. The MACD up signal remains intact but the Moving Average Convergence / Divergence (MACD) indicator is pointing to some weakness for Tuesday.

Momentum turned negative and the Ultimate Oscillator moved lower after breaking through to overbought levels during the morning.

The Slow Stochastic is pointing lower as is the Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator.

The rate of change is dipping back after reaching overbought signals.

Outlook for Tue Jul 12 2022

For Tuesday the S&P index technical indicators are indicating that the market will move lower again on Tuesday. The Bollinger Bands Squeeze is well underway and looks steady to send the index back lower. We will know more after the close on Tuesday.

4200 is light resistance

4150 is light resistance

4100 is light resistance

4050 is light resistance

4025 is light resistance

4000 is strong resistance

3975 is light resistance and is a decline of 17.5%

3900 is light resistance and is a decline of 19%

3850 is light resistance and is a decline of 20%

3825 is light support

3800 is good support.

3775 is light support

3750 is light support

3730 is light support

3700 is good support

3675 is light support

3650 is light support

3625 is light support

3600 is good support and is a decline of 25%
