Prior Trading Day Summary
On Wednesday the Fed cut interest rates by a quarter of a point which sparked a rally.
New York saw volume jump by one billion shares and 180 stocks made new highs. There were just 19 new lows. 70% of all stocks were rising.
The NASDAQ did not see the strong rally emerge. Instead it closed up 77 points to 23,654. Volume jumped 900 million shares to 8.3 billion which is still below average. There were though 335 new highs and 104 new lows. 64% of all stocks were rising by the close.
