A lot of earnings on Tuesday ended up disappointing investors. Even GM who had spectacular results was sold off as investors worried that these rising auto sales numbers just can’t last much longer.
After hours Apple had excellent numbers but again investors sold it off. This is setting the market up for more weakness on Wednesday.

The S&P index closed at 2143.16.
Dow Jones Index Close
The Dow Jones closed at 18,169.27.
NASDAQ Index Close
The NASDAQ closed at 5,283.40
Stock Market Outlook for Tomorrow – Oct 26 2016
With changes to my website being implemented there are no technical charts this evening.
On Monday by the close, the market had been showing signs of trying to move higher. That happened on Tuesday but only for a short while in the morning before investors moved to the sidelines and the market fell. The afternoon saw investors return as volume moved higher but unfortunately that volume was primarily to the downside.
Losses on Tuesday were small however, but with Apple Stock set to fall on Wednesday the market is setting up for another sideways day, but this time the bias has shifted again to the downside.
