Despite another increase in Weekly Initial Unemployment Insurance Claims, markets remains fairly strong with the S&P continuing to hold onto the 2800 level. Dips during the day were bought into and all 3 indexes closed higher with the NASDAQ once again showing the biggest gains.
After hours new of excellent results from Gilead Sciences’ antiviral medicine remdesivir coupled with news that the President plans to begin opening the country’s economy has sent the futures up huge ahead of Friday’s opening.
There is no need this evening for a full review of Thursday’s technical chart as the markets will be soaring higher on Friday. The outlook is up for the indexes.
