On Fri Jun 2 2023 at 8:30 we get the May non-farm payroll report. The consensus is for 188,000 and an unemployment rate of 3.5%. These monthly reports often result in an increase in volatility and wider swings in the markets.

The goal for this trade is a return of at least 100% depending on whether the S&P climbs or falls. The trade is designed to profit no matter which direction the S&P moves.

Thanks to today’s market swing, this trade was far less expensive than the April unemployment trade. This should make it easier to reach a 100% return.
