Quick Comments On Changes To Members Site -Dec 11 2016

As members may have noticed starting Thursday there have been changes made to the appearance of the Members web site. The final changes will be in place Monday and Tuesday. Unfortunately some of the changes on the weekend failed to work and tech support had to revert back to the previous website in most areas.

The code is being fixed and they should have the changes back up late Monday.

I spent the entire weekend with tech support on finishing touches to the members site. Some issues were unresolved. To all those who emailed this weekend, my apologies for errors and problems you may have had as this was the last weekend for us to be checking a number of aspects.

We had a major collapse of a SQL database on Friday which occupied a lot of my time so I didn’t get a chance to write anything for the day on Friday as I was working to help restore files.

Enjoy the old layout and look of the members website on Monday and Tuesday because it will be disappearing shortly as the new site is rolled out.

All of this is taking a lot of resources and time and I appreciate the patience of Members as this is also cutting into my time for articles, trades and answering investor questions.

However by Tuesday everything should be in place and tech support will then begin to install the first strategy software for members to be trying out. There are a lot of modules to the software as the various strategies will all eventually be up and available for members. This has taken longer than I expected and has used a significant amount of my time and resources but when it is done it will be well worth it.

The biggest problems faced have been the daily volume of members on the site which has collapsed a number of the changes repeatedly and at one point took down an entire SQL database. Luckily tech support has been able to keep the members’ site up and running throughout all the problems and difficulties.
