The general weakness in the stock market in today pushed down a number of big cap stocks including Coca Cola Stock. It’s hard to earn huge profits Put Selling against a stock like Coca Cola Stock. In fact Put Selling against the “Big Boys”, those low volatile huge corporations often provides returns of less than 1% a month. Yet I stepped in and sold another 10 puts against Coca Cola Stock. Why would I do this when put premiums against these Big Boys is low in relation to more volatile stocks. Even in my Coca Cola Stock trade this morning I earned less than 1% for the month.

In fact I believe that every investor interested in combining options with stock should create a watch list of Big Boys and then following a strategy similar to mine to build an entire backbone to their portfolios that looks out beyond days, week or months but instead into years.
