The dip today in the market is to be expected after the giant gains on Friday. That gain helped the SPX recover two support levels. While overall the move higher remains suspect, the actual outcome of the rally on Friday and then Monday’s sideways action is confirming that stocks are still stuck in a tight trading range.

Tight trading ranges such as has developed since December, can create exceptional profits and one of the best ways to quickly identify possible trades is to use the heatmap.
