Over the past 8 years, one ETF that has done well for my portfolio was the small cap index IWM. IWM ETF follows the Russell 2000 index of small cap stocks. I find it the best way to trade the volatile world of small cap stocks as it affords a high level of protection and profits remain reasonably good.
