The Dow Jones Index opened the year on Jan 2 at 16,572.17. On April 2 the Dow closed at 16,573.00 virtually unchanged from the open on Jan 2. Meanwhile through the use of the Ultra ETFs the market direction portfolio is up an impressive 21.5% over the same period and earned 5.7% in March alone. This portfolio is designed to take advantage of movements in the Dow Jones Index and trades through the use of the Ultra ETFs. It uses the ProShares UltraPro Dow 30 ETF for upside moves. Its trading symbol is UDOW and it attempts to provide 3X the daily move of upside moves in the Dow. It then uses the ProShares UltraShort Dow 30 ETF for downside moves. Its trading symbol is DXD and it attempts to provide 2X the daily move of downside moves in the Dow.
Through a careful strategy that builds on intraday support levels, this portfolio has the potential to provide impressive returns no matter which way the Dow Index 30 stocks move.

April 2 Market Direction Portfolio Trade
The trade on April 2 is just the second trade in over a month where the trade has been carried forward overnight. This trade I am hoping will follow the Dow Index higher and capture three times the return of the index itself.
