Monday’s is April fool’s day and my hope is not to be fooled by Lyft!
Lyft Stock – Friday’s Close
On Friday, Lyft Stock closed at $78.29 up 8.7% from its initial public offering of $72 by a long way below it’s opening high of $88.

Looking at volume on Friday, I think a lot of institutional investors who got in early at the IPO price of $72, sold out before the stock fell below $82. You can see the huge volume in the first half hour of trading. The second best volume was in the final half hour of trading and its was still considerably less than the morning volume.

Lyft Stock Outlook Is Lower
Volume on Friday indicates that if the stock continues to fall on Monday morning, volume will move higher as investors who are in at the IPO price will begin to sell out. If the stock falls below the initial IPO price of $72, volume should pick up considerably.
