Facebook literally blew away estimates with their earnings today. Estimates had the earnings coming in at $1.35 a share. Last year for the same quarter Facebook earned $1.04.
Instead Facebook earned $1.69 an increase of 62.5% over the same quarter last year and 25% above estimates.
Facebook continues to power the Million Dollar Challenge. Even with the stock ahead by 10% this morning, it is trading at just 23.4 times price to earnings, low for this type of speculative stock. Book value of the company has risen to $25.58 a share. There is no debt worth mentioning and Revenue is now at $44.6 billion.
