The Market Direction Outlook for the Toronto Stock Exchange for Tuesday May 5 was for stocks to take a breather and move lower. That rest ended up with the TSX falling 193.53 points to close at 15,173.94 as the market, which has been unable to break through to the old highs, finally pulled back. The pullback was dramatic and hit all sectors.
