The outlook for Wednesday was for stocks to stall and move lower. Instead the US dollar stalled and the Canadian dollar fell just 0.02 of a cent for the first time in days. Despite some bearish news on oil and gas inventories, traders seemed too exhausted to sell oil lower. For the first time in a few days oil appeared to hold its ground. All of this assisted the oversold TSX in repeating Tuesday’s rally only this time there was no selling later in the day to wipe out gains.
Here is my outlook heading into Thursday December 18 2014 for the TSX. This TSX market direction outlook and trade ideas is for Canada Members.
