Toronto Stock Exchange Adds 150.76 Points
The recovery rally in the TSX on Wednesday was all about the US dollar falling. That pushed up commodity prices including oil which in turn pushed up stock prices. The TSX ended the day with a gain of 150.76 points or 1.21% to close at 12,593.02.
TSX 12 Month Chart
That places the TSX back at the important 12,500 level. This also means that TSX did not fall back to the 12000 level and looking at the 12 month chart, the 12,000 level may mark an important milestone for the present TSX bear market. The low of 11531 from Jan 20 has not been revisited.
