Bank of Montreal (BMO) Trade Alert – May 15 2014

With the FullyInformed Canada Members now open one of the first trades is in Bank Of Montreal Stock. Bank of Montreal stock trades under the same symbol, BMO on both New York and the Toronto Stock Exchange. I only trade it in Toronto to keep the trade in Canadian dollars. Bank of Montreal has been turning out exceptional profits for the past few quarters and the fear this morning that interest rates will rise and end the present bull market I think is overdone.

Canadian banks will make money in just about every market condition except a depression and actually even in the great depression they did okay and never failed to miss a dividend payment. Our Canadian Banks are the cornerstone of the economy and the TSX itself and for good reason. The trade today is to set up the start of what will be a larger position.
