Every month I setup a SPY ETF trade ahead of the non-farm payroll numbers. On Friday Sep 1 2017 we get the August payroll numbers at 8:30 AM before markets open.
At this time I am already working to repair a trade from Aug 29 that is sitting in a losing position. I was definitely on the wrong side of the presently rally. I think I will blame North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un and send him my supreme bill if there is a loss, LOL.
This has meant a change to this month’s Spy ETF trade ahead of the jobs numbers.
Remember that these are highly speculative trades that can result in a total loss. I love investing and trading and take a lot of enjoyment over study the market and setting up trades. Investors who are interested in these Spy ETF trades ahead of the jobs numbers but do not have a lot of experience should paper-trade the strategy until they see a long line of consistently winning trades.
