Today the CEO of Peloton (PTON) indicated that his company was “recession proof”.
I doubt that to be the case. In a recession consumers drop monthly charge items, return items, end subscriptions and try to save money any way they can. All of these will affect Peloton Stock (PTON).
I still suggest for any investor to hold back and wait for all the legal issues to be resolved and for the company to have at least 3 profitable quarters before considering the stock for investing purposes.
It closed today’s IPO with the distinct title of the “worst saingle day IPO”. That, in my opinion, tells us a lot about the stock for investing currently.
