Tuesday was a choppy day for trading. The indexes moved in and out of positive and negative. Comments from Fed Chair Janet Yellen seemed to indicate another rate hike would come in December. That appeared to place a floor under the indexes, especially many technology stocks that have been under selling pressure over the past couple of trading days. By the close the index were flat with small gains on the S&P and NASDAQ and a small loss on the Dow Jones.

Here is the outlook for the S&P and NASDAQ indexes for Wednesday Sep 27 2017 as viewed by the advance decline numbers from the close of trading on Tue Sep 26 2017.
