The up signal that MACD issued late afternoon on Wednesday held up throughout Thursday. Stocks rose through the day and managed to retake 2650 to ward the end of the day before closing back below it. There was no sell signal generated at the close on Thursday. The market was extremely oversold going into Thursday but the close still looked more like a bounce than the start of a new rally.
