In 2013 the Apple Stock biweekly Put Selling strategy returned 50%. Part of this exceptional return may be attributed to the market direction which during 2013 was primarily up. This overall market direction may have assisted my biweekly Put Selling strategy on Apple Stock even though the stock was in a declining pattern for 2013. The strength of the overall market may have assisted in keeping Apple Stock from falling too far or too quickly. Both of these would have assisted the returns I made in Apple Stock.

I have set a new challenge for 2013 to the end of 2017. The goal is to grow $250,000 to $1,000,000 by the end of 2017. This year I believe will be much tougher than 2013 for making profits. Using the biweekly Put Selling strategy on Apple Stock again this year should tell me whether the market direction last year had a strong influence over the returns I made in 2013.
