40% Return on SPY ETF Trade – Aug 23 2017

Yesterday as the S&P broke through the 2450 level in the big rally, I picked up Spy Put options as members know.

The trade ended this morning in the drop with my position being scaled out in a series of trades that concluded with a 40.8% return on yesterday’s trade.

This article outlines the trade and the results. It also discusses why the trade was placed along with how the trade could have been adjusted if I had been wrong and the S&P had continued to climb today, which instead of a profit would have left the trade facing losses.
