To date October has not been unkind to investors. Since the month started the market has done very well and moved higher retaking the 50 day, 100 day and now sits perched at the 200 day moving average.
The recovery rally was steady until the 2000 level was reached. After that valuation stocks trended more sideways until last week when they finally broke through 2020 and closed on Friday at the highest level since August 21.
