Friday’s market saw the best action at the open and then into the close. The open saw the S&P jump to 2278.68 which by 11:30 resulted in the S&P slipping back until by 2:30 it had given back most of the rally and was down to 2271.52. The market held onto the 2270 level though so buyers returned and pushed the index higher for the remaining hour and a half. By the close all three indexes were higher except for the Dow Jones which was down just 5.27 points.
