Investing Strategy Notes and 7 Trade Ideas Before The Markets Open Apr 17 2015

I have a lot of capital which will be released back to my portfolio on Friday with my various trades expiring. With the S&P still holding around the 2100 level I plan to put most of this capital back to work.

I am not concerned about a possible pullback of stocks heading into May. April is historically the final month of the best 6 months of the year. However while May is often poor, I place a lot of my trades far enough out of the money to not be much of a concern. As well, with so much capital being available, I can perform any needed rescues of any positions.

I usually do not sell naked puts or naked calls near the money but stay out of the money with my trades unless they are a buy-write.
