Today marked the 15th Anniversary of the attacks of 9/11. With the media frenzy over the health of Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton taking front stage on Sunday, it seemed that for a lot of people the 15th anniversary was more about her health and less about the events and aftermath of that horrific day.
Watching the ceremonies and events on television, the impact of that day is still as fresh as when it happened.
The History channel ran a unique perspective on ordinary citizens who captured much of the events on their camera and cellphones. That was vivid. But perhaps the most telling videos came from CNN who in a special report showed footage from inside the Twin Towers during the attacks, which was chilling to say the least.
Today was a day to reflect upon how our world has changed due to 9/11 and how closer many of us have become over the past 15 years. My heart goes out to all those who lost loved ones and friends and whose lives have been altered forever by the events of 9/11.
