Last week was slow for stocks. The downing of a Russian jet fighter at the start of the week took the wind out of any rally attempt and by Wednesday there was just no volume left.

4th Week November Action

For the final week of November the market sat sideways. Monday opened at 2089.41 and the drop during Tuesday over the Russian jet fighter crisis, was bought into quickly, as soon as the S&P hit 2070 which ended any hope of the bears pushing the index lower for the rest of the week.

Wednesday saw very low volume which is understandable as it was ahead of the holiday on Thursday. Friday was a half day with even lower volume which saw the S&P close at 2090.11 almost unchanged from Monday. Definitely a sideways week.

Momentum though kept creeping higher. Here is what I am expecting for the First week of December along with trades, some strategies and what to be watching for and aware of…… the rest of The Week Ahead article is for FullyInformed Members.
