With the Toronto Stock Exchange now holding above 15000, quite a number of new trades are starting to open up. One of the stocks I have repeatedly traded this year is National Bank of Canada Stock. This stock trades only on Toronto and uses the symbol NA. One of the best strategies I have used repeatedly with National Bank of Canada stock is the Weekly Wanderer Strategy. This strategy can be setup to provide both call and put trading opportunities. What I like most about using the Weekly Wanderer Strategy though is the high level of protection.
Two trades ideas have been pinpointed by this strategy at present. The most compelling aspect is the very high level of protection both of these trades offer while still providing a decent return. Many investors fail to setup their trades for protection first. This is a common mistakes which can damage a portfolio. Failing to protect capital being risked leads many investors to quit investing altogether. Yet understanding how to protect a trade is the key to consistent and successful investing. It is also the key to staying comfortable when risking capital against stocks.
