ADP Report and Retail Stocks Plunge
The biggest news today came from the ADP report this morning which showed unemployment reaching lows not seen since 1973 and the retail sector where disappointing Christmas sales is seeing retail stocks hammered. Kohls stock (KSS) is down over % to $41.30 and Macy’s Stock (M)is down 14% to $30.59. Walmart stock (WMT) was down to start the day but has since made a comeback and it up 15 cents into the midday at $69.21. Target stock (TGT) fell to a low of $70.85 but has recovered into the midday and is down 2.2% to $72.00.
