The weakness in McDonalds Stock is continuing as investors worry about the earnings to be released July 22. Estimates have the earnings coming in about 4% higher than the same quarter last year. Many analysts have estimated lower revenue and earnings for McDonalds and it has received numerous hold ratings lately. All of this is weighing on the stock.

The McDonalds Stock Chart for today shows how the selling has broke through the Lower Bollinger Band and set up a new lower low. This breaks the pattern of not setting up lower lows. It also shows the nervousness of investors as while the overall market continues to move higher, McDonalds Stock on a strong up day, is moving lower.
