Closing Comments Tuesday Apr 25 2017 Stock Markets ran higher again on Tuesday building on the strength of the rally from Monday. Much of the action was based on anticipation of lower taxes due to be outlined on Wednesday.
As well the chance of a government shutdown was reduced and investors were cheered by strong earnings from Caterpillar and McDonalds. By the close the NASDAQ was in virgin territory, as it closed above 6000, marking another milestone for the index.
