2015 was the first year of trading in Abbott Labs stock. The most capital I used in a single trade was $47,000 but most trades in 2015 used less than $40,000. Many trades were under $25,000 of capital at risk.
This article is a year-end report for 2015 and the outlook for 2016 for Abbott Labs Stock. I plan to be trading in the stock again in 2016.
This year shows why with many stock I am not a big believer in buy and hold strategies without some kind of option trade to both protect my capital in the trade as well as provide additional profits. Abbott Stock started the year pretty well where it ended.
