TLT Trade Ended – Setup For The Next Trade Begins

Jul 7, 2015 | Bond Investing, ETF Investing, Investing Strategy Notes, Trade Alerts and Ideas

One of the easiest trades I have done since January is trading the TLT ETF. This is iShares’ 20 plus year treasury bond ETF which trades on New York. The options have plenty of volume and there are weeklies as well as monthly option expiry cycles.

In my “The Week Ahead” article for the first week of July which I wrote on June 29, I explained I would be entering another TLT ETF trade. I entered on July 1 as outlined in the article and closed that trade today. The returns from these TLT ETF trades have been terrific and by following the interest rate jitters from investors has been an easy trade to make.

This article outlines my latest trade, explains the most recent TLT chart and provides details of the TLT trade I will be entering shortly and why.
