I have used the Biweekly Put Selling Strategy for a couple of years on Apple Stock with exceptionally good results. Part of the reason for such good returns has been the higher than usual levels of volatility that is common in Apple Stock which keeps option premiums high which is a definite advantage for my income trading purposes.

The stock though over the past 5 years has had a rather checkered past considering the large number of analysts who rate it a buy and the large number of institutional investors holding shares. Even at present of the 46 analysts following the stocks regularly, 16 rate the stock a strong buy, 24 rate it a buy and 6 rate it a hold. None rate the stock underperform or sell. The love affair continues among analysts for the stock but I think the relationship they have developed could be an “unhealthy” one for many buy and hold investors.

Don’t get me wrong. I like Apple and its products, but the stock has a bit of a troubled past as the 5 year chart below shows and for many stock investors, they are worried as Apple Stock is in, yet another major decline.

This is the latest analysis of Apple Stock and outlines the trading strategies I will be changing to along with other trading tips for members…...This trading strategy discussion is for FullyInformed Members.
