The technical outlook for the Toronto Stock Exchange for Tuesday was for stocks to trend sideways but with a bias up. That was superseded by the US markets plunging which took the TSX along with it, especially late in the trading day. The TSX fell 1.13% for a loss of 166.67 points which saw the TSX close at 14,576.45 within 76 points of hitting important critical support at 14500.
