The outlook for Wednesday was for stocks to not go anywhere. The indicators were for stocks to not fall or rise but simply stagnate. By the close of the day the Toronto Stock Exchange had turned slightly negative with most of the closing dip caused by investors watching the US markets plunge in the mid to late afternoon.
