The outlook for the Toronto Stock Exchange for Wednesday was for stocks to fall to 14000. Indeed today the TSX collapsed far below it, reaching 13,892.57 before moving back up and closing at 14,084.43. The TSX is in a correction now and the majority of stocks are falling with it. However today a number of commodities did pick up in particular oil into the close of the day rose to close at $48.48.
Meanwhile other commodities are continuing to plunge. Copper prices are now at levels last seen in 2008 to 2009 with prices down 12 percent in January alone.
