The outlook for the Canadian Stock Market forMonday was for a slightly lower close or slightly higher close but no large swings of more than 75 points either way ahead of the first US Presidential debate. By the close on Monday the TSX had stayed in a tight trading range but it closed on the negative side.
TSX Composite Index Falls 78.47 Points
The TSX Composite Index closed down about half a percent with a loss of 78.47 points to end the day at 14,619.46. Over the past two trading days the TSX has lost 177 points.
