The Canadian Stock Market on Friday pulled back slightly on Friday under light selling but closed down just 7.30 points.
The TSX Composite Index saw declines on Friday in 7 of its 10 groups with material stocks posting the largest loss. Financials and health care once again managed gains.
TSX Composite Index Falls 7.30 Points
The TSX Composite Index Chart fell to just 13,870 on Friday and is sitting just below 14,000. It is trading at its highest level of 2016. As well on Friday the 50 day moving average moved above the 100 day moving average for the first time sincemid-July 2015 when it have a sell signal.
