The outlook for the Canadian Stock Market for Wednesday was for the TSX Composite Index to try to rally, fail and end the day lower. The market did try to rally and by 10:30 it was nearing 14,455 and many analysts felt it would retake the 14500 level. Instead the TSX moved lower into the close but still managed to close positive.
TSX Composite Index Rises 17.36 Points
The TSX Composite Index managed to cling to the positive side of the market on Wednesday and closed with a slight gain of 17.36 points. It closed at 14,366.46 just off the day’s low of 14,342.87.
